Dog Training

“Dogs need mental stimulation. A walk can have a huge positive impact to a shelter dogs welfare” – TAC

If you’re an experienced dog trainer willing to offer your expertise to a worthy cause, we would love to hear from you.

Many of the dogs in shelters throughout Andalusia have suffered serious traumas. Some are too shy for us to approach, while others feel so vulnerable that they may exhibit aggressive behaviours in human company. The sad reality is that many of the shelter workers work twelve hour days. With the general daily tasks that need to be done to ensure that all of the dogs are fed, medicated and pens cleaned, there are simply not enough hours in the day to give these dogs the time and attention that they need.

Then there is general training where we need to help them accept and walk on a lead, learn general manners, socialisation and much more that YOU can help with. Whether you have the experience or you’d just like to help out by taking a dog for a walk, please do get in touch. Many of these dogs are desperate for a walk. You will make their day!
