Practical Support
Whether or not you have a specialist skill, you can always be of great help in the animal charities we collaborate with in the Campo de Gibraltar and beyond.
Drilling, cement work, fence and roof making always come in useful around the animal shelters – there’s a constant flow of building and maintenance jobs that need doing.
Volunteers are also needed to help muck out, feed and give out love to the animals, as are drivers to transport animals to the vet – or better still to drive them to their new foster or adoptive homes – there’s often a shortage of drivers available at shelters to do it.
If you love a car boot sale, we’re always grateful for help with picking up goods, driving the van and selling at one of the weekend markets – it’s amazing how much money we manage to make from other people’s junk!
Alternatively, we need people to pick up donations (for car boot sale, cleaning products, food, blankets etc.) at our pick up points.
As you can see, getting things done requires the generosity of a heck of a lot of people. If you’d like to get involved, we will welcome you with open arms!
